Jobs for College Grads
Offered in April 1st Job Fair
Dozens of Richmond and Wayne County employers are searching for college graduates to fill job openings this spring. The fair will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Apr. 1st in the Lingle Grand Hall at Reid Hospital.

Individuals earning associates’, bachelors’ and masters’ degrees from Ivy Tech Community College, Indiana University East, Earlham College and the Purdue University College of Technology in May of 2014 will be especially sought by local employers.
“There are great jobs just waiting be be filled by local college grads and alumni who may have moved away from Wayne County,” said Mary Anne Butters, Wayne County Commisisoner and task force chair. “No foolin’, come to the College Job Fair April 1st and you’ll be surprised by the many opportunities right here in Richmond and Wayne County.”
One of the new employers recruiting April 1st will be Sugar Creek Packing Co. that is investing approximately $100 million in a new plant in the Gateway Industrial Park near Cambridge City.
The college graduate fair will be followed by an “Open to All Job Fair” Thursday, April 17th at the Kuhlman Center on the Wayne County Fairgrounds. Even more employers will be seeking applicants at that event, also scheduled from 2 to 6 p.m.
